My former employer gave me the opportunity to use my free vacation time during the summertime 3 days per month. That means I could choose when I want to come back home, which obviously suits me better. What should I do? Do I continue to work fulltime without any holiday breaks?In terms of pay, everything is fair. We've got a great team around me and most of them are really nice. However, since I live in France, my salary is lower than the one I made in Switzerland. How does that happen? Well, thanks to a rather large immigration law, companies in Europe are paying a lot more attention to the issue of immigration. In Switzerland, for example, everybody has to declare their nationality somewhere on their job contract. So far, no Swiss company has paid extra attention towards the immigrants' nationality. They simply asked for the right to change their language. As a result, employees who were born in Germany might end up making less money than those who lived in India. This is something I absolutely hate. At least then I wouldn't be able to complain about it openly. Because why should somebody else worry about hisher fate?!The other thing is that every week I see another person coming off the plane with a "good" news.
