In our records the tapwater in Plovdiv is bad. You can use tapwater to cook, but it is not drinkable. Please use bottled water.
Your vacation in Plovdiv will be superb. The air and water quality is bad. however, the local climate is very good. It's only about 34 degrees Celsius difference between summer and winter. If we had stayed in this kind of weather for a week, I'm sure I would have complained about it much more.I was really looking forward to my trip to the island. But as you say, that didn't happen. I can understand your disappointment but maybe you don't need to complain all the time. Maybe you could just enjoy your vacation without worrying about the weather. You might even get a lot of sun from this part of Europe. Or at least you'll feel better because you're not going to have to worry about getting sunburnt by the next day. Just try to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We did everything like you suggested nothing wrong with it although I do wish we got a little bit more rain..We went to Bulgaria on April 1st, 2011. Our first stop was Veliko Tarnovo. As you know, Veliki Tarko is the biggest village in Bulgaria. They have lots of shops selling various types of goods. After walking around, we were hungry so we walked to our hotel restaurant and ordered a couple of dishes. One of them was fried meatballs and another one was baked fish. Both tasted ok but they weren't very tasty. Anyway, after dinner, when I asked the waiter why they are so salty, he said "Because the sea is salty." I think that's what really annoyed me. That's why we left Bulgaria before the end of our vacation. And I agree with you it should've been raining. Now I am glad I didnt go to Velika Tarskaia. Although we visited two villages there, it was still quite cloudy and rainy. On the way back to Sofia, where we live, clouds came down and the rain started. Since then, every year, whenever the rains start, my friends and I always look forward toward those rainy days. When I read about this place, which is located in one of the most beautiful and historical places of Sofias history, such as St Sava Church, St Nicholas Cathedral and other important historic places, etc., I wonder why no one has come here yet? There must be some kind people who want to preserve this wonderful old city.
You will love Plovdiv for it's beauty. It has a very special place in your heart. The beauty of the city is not only seen from the sea, but also from on foot! There are many lovely spots where you can walk and enjoy the beauty around you. We recommend that you visit these spots when you are in Ploschchevo. Here are some of them The old center of town is just a few meters away from here. There is an open market with a beautiful garden. You can find a lot of souvenirs at this place. For example, there is even an ice cream shop near here! If you want to take photos of it, just go up to the street and take a look. On the other side of this street, you will find another one called Ljubovetska Stankaritskaya Street. This street is known as the most beautiful street in the whole world. Many beautiful buildings have been built here by famous architects like Mihail Kostadin. In this part of Plochnik, we recommend you to explore this area. Take a walk along this road and then you'll see how nice the buildings are. The architecture is so unique that it is amazing to watch it. Some of our recommended places include a church, a library, an art gallery, several hotels, shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Also, the place is popular among people who live in different cities all around the world e.g., Moscow, Kiev, London, Paris, New York, and Sydney because of its beautiful architecture. Just make sure that if you're planning to visit here, be sure to get a good map first. Most of these places are within walking distance of each other. So, what makes it worth visiting? Simply put, it offers a great opportunity to stroll through this charming city. And no, those are not fake tourist sites. They are real places full of culture and history. After all, this is a city rich in history and culture. What more could you ask for?A trip to Ploshchevivskiye Novorossiiskii Stenograficheskiye Vodnaya, or PNVV pronounced "pennynosevoo", is one of my absolute favorite places in Bulgaria. If I were you, I would definitely plan to spend time here after your trip.
