Kassels history dates back to medieval times when it was a part of Bavaria. It has a long history with castles and manor houses dating back at least as far as 1459. There are a number of historic monuments in the town which include the old church, the former hospital, and the city hall. The old castle was recently renovated and restored by architects BhmReinhold and Wessel. They were responsible for renovating the entire castle including the tower. This building was used as a school up until the beginning of the 20th century. From the mid1950s the population grew rapidly and there were only three schools in Kasel. These were the primary school, secondary school and a special school for children with special needs. Since the 1960s, Kasels population has continued to grow due to a large influx of refugees from countries around the world. In 1968, about 100 children were born in KABSEL. About Kassel

There are various activities in and around Kassel. The largest activity is the annual Geschichte history festival, which is held in July. In the nearby village of Sibenik there is a smallscale museum about German medieval art.TransportThe railway station was opened in 1869 and closed in 1963. Today, the only transport links are bus and taxi services to both Kasselschule and Sankt Georgen. Kassel Hauptbahnhof is also the starting point for excursions into Germany's Upper Rhine Region. There is one train journey per day from Kasseldorf to Frankfurt, with trains continuing as far as Cologne and Stuttgart. A shuttle service is run by regional operator UBS on weekdays. This service runs from Monday to Saturday between Kassell and Dornbirn. Services are operated by Regionalbussen AG. On Sundays it is served by Buses 441 and 444. Other services run through the region include Regionalbus 8, Regionaltram 2, and RegionalExpress buses 6 and 5. All of these services stop at the bus station, but not on the station itself. Additionally, regular public transport is provided by buses and taxis. Kasseen is located near the junction of UBUdSBusen and Bundesautobahn 20, so it connects directly with several major cities in the area, including Hamburg and Munich. It is thus possible to travel throughout the city quickly using this route. However, since the timetable is irregular due to traffic congestion, it can be difficult to determine whether you will actually reach your destination or not. To avoid this, make sure to plan your trip before you set out. Also note that the Kassee Busway, a new tramway system, has been recently constructed. Trams run every 2025 minutes during rush hours. Furthermore, there are plans to build a tram line between Dessau and Frankfurt.
