Water Pollution in Guildford

Your vacation in Guildford will be superb. The air and water quality is below expectation, but the views are spectacular and theyre free!I cant say enough about Guildville, a lovely village that has a wealth of history with beautiful churches and stunning Georgian buildings including some lovely country houses.Guildford has fantastic walks along its historic High Street, and Ive got my walking boots at home because well have to do it again soon for another visit. My next visit is to St Marys Church, which dates back to 1275 and is now the oldest church in Surrey. Its interior is quite unusual it was used as an abbey when Henry VIII granted his brother Edmund control over all English land in 1547. It was converted into a convent in the 18th century and then turned into the town hall in 1856.The town has many shops including one with a great selection of books from around the world. its not very busy today so I could buy a book here without much trouble. Well be staying in BB the House on Old Road, just outside Guildwood. There are several other places to stay nearby, so you might want to get something more expensive than this B B. Or you could try the excellent local hotels in St Neots or Epping. You can also find lots of good pubs and restaurants near Guildgate, St Margaret, Kings Lynn and Woodbridge. If youd rather stay somewhere closer, there are plenty of excellent bed and breakfasts in Woking. For something a little cheaper, look at the B and B by Dales Park, Bayswater or Chichester. Both have their own pub and both charge a reasonable rate. They may not be as nice as the ones in Tooting, South London, where we stayed recently, however. Another option is the lovely old house at Cottages on Newbury Hill, right opposite Cuckney Bridge. Here you can relax in comfort and style. Note that Cottages are not open to the public. In our experience, they offer far less atmosphere than a BDormitory. However, if you really want a cosy spot to sleep, then Ccottages would be ideal. On our last visit, we found them to be a haven of peace and tranquillity.

Scale is from 0 to 100 while 0 represents the least water pollution thus the best water quality. A value below 50 is considered safe to drink in most cases.

The Traveling Network TeamIt might not be a vacation spot, but there are plenty of great reasons to stop by a town called Grafton. This small seaside community is filled with fun things to doand lots of people including a few tourists just stopping by to say hello. As a local, I love that GRAFTON is located on a peninsula, so there aren't any steep hills to climb. Also, there isn't much traffic, which makes it easy to walk into the center of town. Once you settle in, though, take a stroll down toward Fishermans Beach Park.
