In our records the tapwater in Chania is bad. You can use tapwater to cook, but it is not drinkable. Please use bottled water.
The water quality in Chania is lousy. Its a place full of fish, but the fish arent all that tasty. So we decided to make a dish out of them. We went over to a friends house and he showed me how to create the best of Chanien squid soup with a little bit of garlic powder on top. That was great! says Giorgos Kallis, owner of Restaurant Efthymia.Giorgi Kallasi has been in charge of the kitchen at the restaurant since last July. In his hands, the recipes are transformed into dishes that are both delicious and unique. He takes inspiration from Greek cuisine, which is rich in the spices and herbs that make it so diverse. The menu features some of his own recipes as well as those of some other chefs. There are many kinds of seafood dishes, including squid ink, fried calamari, and more. But most of all, there is also something for everyone. It depends on what I am making right now, whether it will be an appetizer or a main course, said Kalliks. His creations are often very simple because they donre meant to be served quickly. And when you serve them hot, they can take hours to cook. If you want to taste your dinner before its ready, order la carte. You can choose from different types of meatlamb, beef, chicken, or porkand even vegetables. On the menu, you can find such things as spinach, carrots, eggplant, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peppers, green beans, etc. As for the desserts, our customers have always asked for something sweet. I try to do my best every time. At the end of each day, I look up where I ate today and think about what food I could have had just yesterday. My friends say that I never let them down.

He is an executive with the State Department of Health and Human Services. This was followed by dinner at home, which was delicious! Everyone enjoyed the meal and the company. I will have to say that it was one heck of a good meal! After the dinner, we all retired to the pool for some relaxing time...I'm glad to see you all are having a great time! You've done so well! JennyHilton Head, SCSeptember 18, 2007My husband and I are looking forward getting back to Italy after a month here. Our trip was not as planned since we did not go to Venice. My husband got up really early on Sunday morning and went to work. Since he usually works until 900 AM, he took a day off Saturday. When he got home Monday night, however, there was still no message from his boss. So he decided to sleep in. His body clock was telling him to go straight to bed. But when he turned around, something was different. Something was missing. It was dark outside and his watch said it would be 730 PM. In fact, it looked like the sun had just come out. By 7 or 8 o'clock, the light was gone and there were only a few stars visible. The house was completely silent. All the lights were off. After about 15 minutes, his alarm went off and he knew something important was happening.
