In our records the tapwater in Bochum is bad. You can use tapwater to cook, but it is not drinkable. Please use bottled water.
Bochum has very bad air and water quality. The city is not a good place for children to be exposed to pollution. There are so many chemicals and chemicals they can breathe in. I have been there on numerous occasions and the city does not provide the best air or water treatment facilities. The air is toxic and smelly, the water is filthy and polluted. It is extremely hard to find a clean place to stay if you are visiting. This is why I do not recommend this city to anyone. You will definitely want to avoid it. If you ever plan on coming to Bochum, I suggest that you rent an RV or a campervan instead of going by car. Renting a vehicle is cheaper than renting a house at a hotel. Bochna is expensive compared to other places in Germany. But it is still cheaper then some cities in Europe. And it makes it much more fun to visit. For any questions feel free to comment below. Happy Travels! hapter Bochtum Ein guter Ort fr Kinder und JugendlicheIm not sure what touristfriendly means, but I dont think it would be too harsh to say that Bocha pronounced bocht is one of the most touristy places around. When you first arrive, you wonÄt even know where you landed from. A lot of people drive right through the center of town because they just don'ts get out here.A few weeks ago I visited Bochy and I was blown away by how dirty it was. While we were driving through town, my sister and brotherin law had to stop twice to buy water bottles before they could continue their tour. They kept saying things like Wie kommt denn hier? How come here? after they saw the state of their surroundings. My sister said she noticed something odd when they stopped into the grocery store. She says they asked about bottled water and they looked shocked when she told them that they only had tap water.
Stay in Bochum and expierience a wonderful time. We were there on vacation, with some good friends who had just returned from the UK we did not know it was that late in September yet. The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from a lake, where we spent most of our time swimming and fishing. In addition to this, the hotel offered several restaurants nearby, which were very nice. The staff was excellent as well. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A very good choice for families! We will definitely recommend staying here to our friends and family. It was also very close to some beautiful sights like Lake Constance, Bremen, and Munich. You can get a taxi at your own price by using the website www.zippytaxi.com. If youre coming from abroad, you can buy your tickets online www2.ticketmaster.de. This is a really easy way to go since you dont have to wait outside the airport. There are also many places around Bochiemnde where you could take a boat or a carrental. Be careful though, since BoChim Bus Station does not have an ATM. I would advise to bring cash if you need to use it. When we arrived, there was a line out the door. Luckily, we found a table next to the front desk and were able to purchase our tickets without any problem. And yes, its free!We came back home later than we expected due to a flat tire. The car was already waiting for us when we got back after a long drive. Everything was fine until the next morning when the tire popped again. Fortunately we were ready then so we drove straight to town and rented a new tire ourselves. That worked perfectly because everything went smooth during the whole trip. Also, they provided us with a service for our first flat tyre while we waited for the new one to be fixed.
